Yes, cpu frequency scaling is on in the kernel, although I never tried
it myself.

Yes, for amd64 they are already available on the 1.2.0 ISO image. The
i386 version doesn't have them, because there are still some problems
with 2.6.19. I hope everything will be solved with the next 2.6.21
kernel we are preparing.

Yes, it's the testing branch, basically the server builds new ISOs and
APT repos everytime I modify something in the SVN repository, so that
is really the state of art. At the moment the main differences between
master and the latest 1.2.0 are:

1) the installer runs now kernel 2.6.18, it should resolve the
problems people had with SATA CD-ROM

2) the packages are fully in sync with etch

Usually I always try to keep the master version in a good shape
(i.e. installable, and no bugs), but some time it can break!
