Hi,
    concerning the above - I've been trying for ages to get this 
working, so far i've successfully compiled and installed svn verions of 
freebob. the firewire modules and jackd. Thought I'd finally cracked it 
however when I try to run jackd in realtime mode (-R) my machine 
completly locks up (have to press the reset button). bit frustrating 
really. I'd love to get this working properly - my firewire audio device 
is a presonus firebox. I seem to remember reading somplace that the 
above problem is a bug in the realtime module - is this the case? and if 
so what can I do about it? I see from ticket#131 that: "For this we 
probably need a tester with the proper hardware.. anyone willing to have 
a go?"
Well that would be me if only I could get it all working ok ;)

my current setup: Amd athlon 64 3000 (venice core) Asus a8n sli 
motherboard 2gig ram and the above firewire audio.
