The problem is that once you ported it to ardour2, it will not go back
to 0.99... so you'll have to have all your ducks in a row when you have

be ok) At least those projects should port to 0.99 easily when I move
over to the new installment of ardour permanently.

At least that problem has been sorted out for me. I had little to none
feedback from the ardour guys ( the letter from Paul on the Jackd-devel
list ) but it seems stuff happens when no one is watching. Good for me then!
