Thanks for that link. It seems that building a native AMD64 version of 
wine is not helpful for FST, because it wouldn't be able to run 32-bit 
VSTs. So we're looking at using a minimal 32-bit chroot (i.e. just the 
libraries that wine needs, rather than a complete 32-bit system running 
in parallel).
