[64studio-devel] my wish list- Java Support

As a multimedia software developer, It is nice to have access to programming
environments, like eclipse. While I can work in a standard text editor, I
prefer not to. When faced with the issue of installing eclipse (like many
things, its not in the repository. I don't expect the repositories to be
filled with goodies on a beta release), I was surprised to find that
64Studio has no java support: typing javac or java at the command prompt
does nothing.

This is what I would like to see, as a multimedia software developer:
in the repositories (if possible)
the compiler used to make the kernel (gcc 4.1.2)- so that certain
applications can be compiled.
the java SDK-so java programming is possible, and so java-based applications
like eclipse can be run
Eclipse- to make code development easier
extensions for Eclipse(such as CDT, for c++ development)- again, so code
development can be made easier
nasm(or another assembly language compiler)- for those really down and dirty
process optimizations

I hope this doesn't sound like a tough request. as a game developer, these
are a few tools I have found useful over the years, and all have support for
other i86_64 and/or amd64 linux releases(with the possible exception of
nasm).

I'd do it myself, but I haven't the time.
