[64studio-devel] Need latest alsa drivers

Hello guys,

I bought a Asus laptop (A6Km Q7) which need the 1.0.12 alsa modules version
to play sound.
Actually it's the 1.0.11 version, so I try to recompile it with alsa
sources but with no success.
I understood that it was a wrong version of GCC, so I try to compile
it with both (4, 4.1)
but I go errors (at different levels for each). There was a handling
given by an alsa developer,
to patch the 1.0.11 version (echo "7a 57c1" >
/proc/asound/card0/codec97#0/ac97#0-0+regs)
but it doesn't work because the alsa-lib wasn't compile with the
debug=all option (./configure –with-debug=all).
What can I do ? Do you hava quick solutions or do I have to wait for
new release (including alsa 1.0.12)
