Free has been on holiday, and since then he's been working hard on an 
OEM project. But we are very much still here.

At the moment, we are waiting to hear about any major bugs in the 0.9.4 
release, our first release candidate for 1.0. I'm using 0.9.4 daily and 
have had no serious problems, so the signs are good.

Not yet, I'm afraid - Free has built the binary package of kino, but it 
looks like we may also have to build a custom package of dvgrab as well. 
In Debian, both these packages are built with a patent-encumbered codec 
dependency (libavcodec0d).
