Thanks a lot for the feedback. I've used rt-3 for the kernel in 0.9.5,
but I'm not sure if rt-7 is what actually makes the different or if it
rather hpet.

Have you the right  hardware to test frebob? I  that case we could try
to introduce it, having some reliable feedback.
