I try to compile a vanilla 2.6.18 kernel rt-7 patched with 64studio
config except for:

CONFIG_HPET_TIMER=n

The kernel doesn't hang no more and 64studio seems to work fine, no
Xruns with 32 frames @ 44K while compiling a kernel and ardour looping
on 6 tracks.

I am going to try the Debian stock kernel.

64 studio is nice, just missing freebob support...

Cheers,

joël
