If you mean CONFIG_HIGH_RES_TIMERS, then it is not set in the 2.6.18 kernel
which comes with 0.9.5.
However CONFIG_HZ is set to 1000, instead of the default 250. I´m not sure
if it matters.
The 2.6.18 kernel shipped in the 0.9.5 diverges from the stock Debian one
for
1) bootsplash and realtime-lsm patch applied (should be really harmless)
2) realtime-preempt applied
3) the config is slightly change, here are the additional entries wrt
to the stock Debian kernel
