I notice this and several other DSSI packages are on Debian's to-do list:

It would be great to have these packages in 64 Studio 2.0. The VST 
header licence problem still needs to be worked out for one of these 
packages, but it's good to see that linuxaudio.org has started to look 
at that issue.
