I have the ze2000 series (exact model is ze2355ea). Single core Turion, 
ATI Radeon 200M video. VGA out works perfectly, but has to be activated 
(once only) in Windows, as far as I can tell. It's some kind of software 
switch activated by the F4 key, not a true OS-independent hardware 
switch like you used to get on Toshiba laptops. So I shrank the Windows 
partition to 10GB rather than deleting it.

Free has the zv5000 series (model zv5464ea) with a single core Athlon 64 
and nVidia GeForce 440 video. Nicer screen on those, but I'm not sure if 
he uses the external video out.

Apparently, there is a driver for the memory card reader now:
