This sounds like it could be related to the known dual-core CPU bug in
Jack, rather than an SMP problem as such. I have 0.9.4 running smoothly
with Jack here on an SMP Opteron system (two single core CPUs). As I
recall, you've got a dual-core Athlon 64 CPU, haven't you?

There is a new release of Jack that came out last Friday, version
0.102.20. We'll have to check if this version has merged the dual-core
bugfix, and if so, make sure it is included in 64 Studio 1.0. If not,
we'll have to include an 'alternative' Jack package for dual-core users,
based on the 'clockfix' branch in Subversion:

Cheers!
Daniel
