Hi,

I have a separate tree for my audio ( /audio ) and all is working fine on
my 0.9.7 PC. Unless this has changed, I think this has to do with the USB
rather than the fact that it is outside the users home.

What could pose a problem is that the references could be different for
different pcs, as it might mount the USB drive on another location in the
OS, in return killing the links to the files.
