Hi Quentin,

I know at  least one amd64 hardware  combination (namely the one found
in the  prototype 64 bit version  of the Mediastation  [0]) that won't
boot with the 2.6.17 of 64studio  early release. So there are probably
other amd64 machines which wouldn't be happy with a 2.6.17..
