Not on the K3b I used. As far as I know, writing a cd image to DVD is not
something most programs can do by default.

Well, I'm not sure how to do this (new to Debian), so for me installing a
new kernel seemed easier.
Is there any special reason why debian repositories are not included in
sources.list? It would be a lot easier if I could just uncomment a line to
add a repo. Just an idea ofcourse...

I figured as much from examining menu.lst . I'm not quite used to those
images. Never needed to build them for Slackware or Gentoo. But I've found
out how to do this now.
