I was erroneously assuming that you had the correct alsa-modules installed,
but that was not the case! I'm now working on refining the installer, and
will soon fix the kernel selection. The goal is to have the -smp kernel
installed only if more than once CPU is found, and have the right
alsa-modules package installed accordingly.
